Finally the long awaited Ultegra Electronic systems are finally here. New simplified wiring and affordable precision shifting. The shifters can be connected to your PC for diagnosis or re-programming of the shifter controls. We'll see if Shimano thought ahead enough to be able to re-program it for eleven speed.

What we're riding

Giant TCR Advanced SL    Across the board Giant has one of the most impressive road bike lineups for 2012. So we figured why not try one of the new Advanced Sl's. Featuring a reworked headtube with 1.25 upper and 1.5" lower bearings. The frame has been built with steering precision in mind. Radically shaped tubing keeps too much of the stiffness from reaching the rider. For fun we outfitted this one with the impressive new Ultegra Di2. We even managed to bury most of the electronic inside the frame and the stem for a really clean look.  

 

What we're listening to.

Straight up Memphis Rock. Put your brain aside grab a cold one, or better yet hit the indoor trainer.

What we're eating.

 

Le Fleur des Monts, is an uncooked pressed cheese - aged for up to 9 months.The sheep milk cheeses made in the French Pyrenees were its inspiration and it is this heritage that lends it so much character. Le Fleur des Monts is typically aged from 3 to 6 months.
