Welcome to www.TheBikeExpress.com. The winter is over, sure it was a big launch back in October but really fizzled after that. The good news is many of you managed to get out most if not all of the winter. Kudos. Days are gaining minutes, and there has been plenty of warm days to entice the lazy bears out of hibernation. Let us help you get off to a great start to your season.

For 2012 it's easier than you think. Check out www.bikewalkct.org for the schedule of events. Also new for this year Ct Commuter Services www.ctrides.com is conducting their CTRides week from May 14th thru 18th.

Challenge Countdown - One Week to Go!! Now is the time to get your bikes checked out and and your teams ready. To have the best shot, go out and recruit more riders to fill your team to capacity of 10 riders. At 12:01 am on May 1 all points will be reset back to zero. How many chances in life do you get for a fresh start, so make the most of it. Best of luck to everyone, have fun and ride safe!

Finally the long awaited Ultegra Electronic systems are finally here. New simplified wiring and affordable precision shifting. The shifters can be connected to your PC for diagnosis or re-programming of the shifter controls. We'll see if Shimano thought ahead enough to be able to re-program it for eleven speed.
